Course Description


ECE 584 Advanced GPS Receiver Design.
Spring. 3 credits.
Prerequisite: ECE/MAE 415.
Location TBA, 8:40-9:55 AM TR.

This is a continuation of ECE/MAE 415 in which the processing of the GPS signal is implemented in order to extract the GPS observables. Creation of C/A code, upsampling, baseband down conversion, signal acquisition, signal tracking, pseudorange calculation, navigation message interpretation, and navigation solution using 415 code.
